PDXOS 2017 Complete Tour Guide
Portland Open Studios is an annual juried art studios tour in Portland, Oregon, USA.
It offers a unique opportunity to watch artists at work in their own spaces, as they paint, sculpt, draw, print, throw, carve, sew, and more.
Ask about their tools and techniques.
Learn more about art from the artists themselves.
This app includes mediums, location/map/driving directions, and 3 images for each of the 106 participating artists, in addition to many useful functions such as Search, Favorite, Visited & Notes to help you plan your tour.
The 2017 tour is on October 14, 15 and 21, 22 (always the 2nd and 3rd weekends of October).
All 106 artists' studios are open from 10am to 5pm, and artists will be on hand to demonstrate their art and answer questions during those hours.
If you are interested in specific mediums, use the Search function to seek out any of the mediums used by our artists, including: acrylic, assemblage, ceramics, collage, digital, drawing, encaustic, fiber & fabric, found objects, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media 2D, mixed media 3D, mosaics, oil, pastel, photography, printmaking, sculpture, watercolor.
A list of wheelchair-accessible studios is also available.
Now in its 19th year, Portland Open Studios was honored in 2009 by the City of Portland with a proclamation that declared the 2nd and 3rd weekends of October Portland Open Studios weekends.
We hope to see you in October, 2017!
